Day one, top of the agenda in Hokkaido is the must visit hot spring (onsen). The onsen costs around ¥1,500 that includes entrance and towel rentals. To get there, I suggest you ride the bus from Sapporo station, 10:00 am, bus stop no. 26, bus number 7H. 7J goes only up to Jozankei onsen but 7H goes all the way to Hoheikyo onsen. Bring your tap card PASSMO / ICOCA for convenience, you may likewise download it over the e-wallet of your phone. Meanwhile, the bus accepts cash anyway. It is always good timing to have snow to have a winter wonderland experience. And since it is cold outside, Indian curry feels great! Lunch would cost you around ¥1,500 per person.
