Letter to my mid-20 year old self
1. The question that you have always been asking and trying to find an answer for? You already know deep in your heart the answer. You seek and ask more questions only to find out you knew the answer all along.
2. You have always believed in angels. They’re there to guide you. At my age now, I still do, but know the difference between angels and demons. Some look like angels but disguised as demons. You are wise and tough, no demon can crush you.
3. Don’t go looking for love. It will come along. Just pray like you usually do, you know our personal prayer, you keep on saying it every night. I still do, only my version is a prayer of thanks.
4. About your job, if it is too good to be true, it’s not true. This revelation will crush you and will send you to the depths of darkness. But you will rise up. Angels will be there to show you the way.
5. You will have many chosen families. Your concept of family will eventually change. It is not the kind that has been instilled on you by society. Is blood thicker than water? No, you have a choice.
6. At this point on my clues, the best advise I can give you is to know your worth. You still got your pride. Gather up the pieces because you will be stronger, and evolve.
7. Be grateful. I know you are still in the dark now but always have a grateful heart. You will see the positivity in things if you count your blessings.
8. Pay off your debts! It seems like a mountain of indebtness to you now but slowly but surely you will be able to overcome that.
9. People come and go. If they leave, let them be. If they stay, treasure them forever.
10. Your dreams of flying? They will come true. You just have to interpret it carefully.
You will be someone you needed eventually, so be nice, be patient and have a grateful heart all the time. Happy Birthday Mike!
