I saw the all the publicity about Arashiyama Illumination and got curious how the Bamboo forest would look like on a glow up. The bridge and other illuminations were quite disappointing but the walk in the bamboo forest was truly breath taking. Good thing, I had my GoPro Hero 9 on hypersmooth so I was able to capture a walking tour of Kyoto’s famous tourist destination. And speaking of tourists, the place was packed with local tourists. Arashiyama Illumination 2021 is on until December 19, 2021, free of charge.
